3 ingredient Date Nut Bars is what I made for the last session of Core Conditioning . This is an easy, healthy , delicious snack. Did you know that dates are high in essential minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, magnesium and zinc are found in dates. It also contains vitamins such as thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate, vitamin A and vitamin K.
Ingredients : 6 oz unsweetened bakers chocolate 1 cup dates , 1 1/2 cup nuts I used cashews .
Directions: *soak dates in water for 5 min * Drain dates and combine with nuts in a food processor till combined and sticky * put date and nut mixture in a parchment lined 8x8 pan and spread evenly
*melt chocolate and add some stevia to taste to sweeten the chocolate *put melted chocolate on top date nut mixture and spread evenly .
*place in freezer for 20 min
