I’ll get through these holidays and THEN start my weight loss journey. But you know how that goes... you start and do great for 1-2 weeks then it’s like those old habits and patterns of late night eating start creeping up. I’m here to tell you.... DON’T BE SO HARD ON YOURSELF. Did you know that being on a “diet” and restricting food actually makes you crave that very thing. It makes you want to rebel and then the crazy thing is... we beat ourselves up because we think we’ve failed. It’s just not true. That is why I don’t do restrictive diets. If I want some cake... I eat cake. If I want some pizza I eat some pizza. You may be thinking...yes, but you can get away with that because you have a fast metabolism... but the truth is... when I eat pizza I only eat until I’m satisfied. So that’s maybe 2-3 pieces. For someone who’s been on a restricted diet... once they eat the “forbidden food” it’s like a free for all.... for the next WEEK! Which causes more calorie consumption than if you were to just eat what you want when you want until you’re satisfied without the rollercoaster of on track - off track eating. Smiling right after a workout?! That's a RARE sight coming from me (give me about 10-15 mind to breathe life back into myself first...then I'm good! 😉) Cancelling my coach account was a HARD decision for me. I wanted to keep pushing for my dreams, but that dream had to start with ME taking care of ME first.

Not guna lie, the past 8 months I felt lost again. I felt like I had lost something I had been searching my whole life for: MY PASSION. Anyone that truly knows me knows I LIVE to help people. Its what I thrive on.

I knew I wasnt quitting. Or giving up. I was building myself all while searching for something. ...I had to find my tribe. Someone who got me, my struggles. But most importantly someone who overcame those struggles in a way that my heart agreed with. I found where I belong ❤ October 25th, 2017. Mom, Mom, Mom, Mommm! 😂🤦🏽‍♀️ But if you’re following fitness accounts to get motivated and never take the action then you’re just driving yourself crazy and feeling like shit because it’s like you’re spinning your wheels and never getting anywhere. So here are my main 3 TIPS for getting what you want: 💜 #1 Declutter your house so you can have room to think straight... yes I said that! Throw shit away that you don’t love. It’s holding you back and keeping you stuck. You’ll have so much energy to do what you want when you’re surrounded only by stuff you love. #2 💜 Make time for yourself... stop saying yes to everyone but you! Before you agree to something let the person know you’ll check your schedule and get back to them (even if you know you have nothing going on) this gives you time to think about if this will take time away from you making yourself a priority to get your own shit done before you go around helping everyone else. It’s like when you’re in a flight they tell you put your own mask on first... same thing applies. Get your own shit done first. 💜 #3 Finally Schedule your workouts and time to meal prep each week in your phone or planner at least 3 days in advance so you will get them done. You can’t wait until the last second to plan your own activities and then stick to that plan. Workouts can take 45-60 mins 3-6x a week and meal prep can take 1-2hrs 2x a week. Depending what you make. I like to prep on Sundays and Wednesday’s. Saturday is usually cheat meals or off prepped meals. Hope this helps... let me know in the comments.
