He does such a great job of keeping conversation with you to distract you through the pain lol! Diagnosis... Deep Muscle strain/micro tears or he can tell you the other crazy long name he came up with πŸ˜‚ this was all caused from being crazy as usual... so I still need to learn to listen to my body and not over due it.. when I feel pain.. find out what's going on before I make it worse 😭 Running Big Cottonwood Marathon and then less then 2 weeks later doing a 20 mile run probably isn't very SMRT 😜 
So if you would like to laugh and cry all at the same time schedule your appointment today! πŸ˜œπŸ˜‚ ha! He really does such a great job! I did WW for many years and it got to a point where I just couldn't work it anymore. TSFL has been another alternative, and so far, it's working!! Makes 4 servings and per serving you receive:
· 1 lean protein
· ¼ green
· 3 condiments
Ingredients:
2 cloves garlic
· ½ cup green onion
· 2 teaspoons lime, juice
· 2 tbsp. chipotles in adobo sauce(to taste)
· ½ tbsp. ground cumin
· ½ tbsp. ground oregano
· ½ tsp. ground cloves
· 1 cup water
· 20oz cooked beef eye of round or bottom round roast, all fat trimmed
· ¼ tsp. kosher salt
· ½ tsp. black pepper
· 1 bay leaves
DIRECTIONS:
Place garlic, onion, lime juice, cumin, oregano, chipotles, cloves and water in a blender and puree until smooth.
Trim all the fat off meat, cut into 3-inch pieces. Season with salt and black pepper. Heat the pressure cooker on high (use saute button for Instant Pot), when hot add the oil and brown the meat, in batches on all side, about 5 minutes. Add the sauce from the blender and bay leaves, cover and cook on high pressure until the meat is tender and easily shreds with 2 forks, about 1 hour. (in my Instant Pot I cooked it 65 minutes). (If you're making this on the stove, simmer it on low at least 4 hours, adding more water as needed to make sure it doesn't dry out.)
Once cooked and the meat is tender, remove the meat and place in a dish. Shred with two forks, and reserve the liquid for later (discard the bay leaf). Return the shredded meat to the pot, add 1/2 tsp cumin and 1 1/2 cups of the reserved liquid.

As ladies, we all have those days...
Stress at home...stress at work...forced visitation by Mother Nature... where we turn to something unhealthy to escape that stress. For me, it's always been food. I turned stress eating into an art and was so good at it I should have received some sort of an award. 
Many of you know I've been on a program learning how to incorporate healthy habits into my life. Well today was one of those days. I felt like I just could not get enough food into my body to counteract the stress and hormone levels. So I ate more than normal...more than my program calls for and at first I felt guilty. I have been so afraid to "lose control" and gain back what I've already lost. Then all of a sudden I realized...I haven't eaten ANYTHING off plan....at all. None of the chips, fruit snacks, ice cream, fruit by the foot, hot pockets, mini corn dogs, or birthday pie that are currently in my kitchen. I wasn't even TEMPTED to eat those things!!! I can't believe I used to live with so much condemnation. I would stress eat and then hide in the bed with my shame. Well today....I did give in to some stress eating (hey...I'm still on my journey), but I've learned such great habits that I can still be proud of my choices. 
If you're still reading this post...I want you to know...you do NOT have to live condemned or bound by awful decisions.
