" You see, eating clean" & "working out" can mean very different things to different people. My definition of "clean eating" is eating unprocessed foods that once grew. No fake fat free, sugar free ingredients that you can't pronounce. ---------------------------
My definition of "working out" is not "reading on the elliptical for hours"- Here is what it is: It is INTENSE and it is CHALLENGING (for you) and it is brief, to the point and it progresses and changes your body. That's what we want! Right? 💪🏻

Assuming your definitions are the same as mine, here are more variables to look at: How much are you eating? Are you combining the right amount of carbs, proteins and fats? How frequently are you eating? Are you eating too much? Too little? Too Frequently? Not frequently enough? Are you eating the right amount for energy and lean muscle mass (muscle needs food!) Or are you eating too much and storing and holding on to FAT? How do you fuel yourself pre and post workout? What is your activity level? How frequently are you working out? What is the Intensity level of your training and are you progressing? How long are you working out? Is this list too long? Perfect ! You get my drift :) ---------------------------------
There is no "just do this" answer because there are so many questions that need to be addressed first. If what you are doing is working then by all means- keep going but If it is NOT working, change your definitions. 😊

When we don't like the way something is going or headed we tend to not make waves. We don't say what needs to be said or do anything about it for many reasons.

Maybe it is because you don't want to stand out.
Maybe its because you are afraid of being critiqued, laughed at, disliked, or scolded.
Maybe it is because you don't believe that you have a voice or the power.
------------------------------------
So we accept. And then we gossip, we complain, we commiserate, we stay comfortable and we do not rock the boat or create any waves. And, guess what happens?

NOTHING CHANGES.

When we decide to jump and BE the interruption and speak up it does not always feel so good. The words aren't always perfect and the delivery can sometimes be better- BUT, my gosh the ripple that it creates ALWAYS starts the conversation and change is a result.

When we become the interruption, those that need to be heard start to speak up too. Stuff shifts, things happen, people move. CHANGE HAPPENS.

Being the interruption isn't easy. It is not comfortable and it certainly does not feel good when you are doing it but those that become the interruption- Those committed risk takers that choose to interrupt create the ripple that leads to change.

Because I finally "get" that WE (me or you) control the energy, mood, outcome, happiness, success, positivity, tone and attitude of every single environment and interaction we are in all of the time. 100% of the time. --------------------------
Letting others change or create the tone means that THEY are the source. ------------------------------------
Why not let that be YOU?

When we complain, validate mediocracy, become negative, are "tired" and warm out or are not having a good experience etc... it's because we have let someone ELSE be the source. -----------------------------------
Be the interruption.
Shift the mood.
Change the attitude.
Create the extraordinary.
Bring the party and fun.

nataliejillfit's Instagram Photo - Want one? Egg Salad Bites for a yummy on the go snack

4 hardboiled eggs
1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 tbsp parsley
2 tsp Dijon mustards 
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/8 tsp himalayan salt
pinch of cayenne pepper
1 long English cucumber

Using a medium bowl mash the hardboiled eggs with a fork. Add the yogurt, celery, parsley, dijon mustard, pepper, salt and cayenne and stir well to combine. Cut the cucumber in half across. cut each piece in half lengthwise. Scoop out the seeds and discard. Fill each of the four cucumber halves with the egg salad and serve.

nataliejillfit's Instagram Photo - Sky's the limit when it comes to goals when you do these 4 things: 1. First BELIEVE you can achieve them 2. Create an action plan TO achieve them 3. Add a final deadline and mini deadlines along the way 4. Visualize the feeling you will have once you hit that goal. These action items sound simple (and can be) but we (humans lol) get stuck. But YOU can get unstuck and decide you are ready and you can do this. --------------------------------
These 4 things work 100% of the time. Skipping these steps, saying "one day" or "only if" or getting excuses validated makes it UNLIKELY you will ever hit a goal. ---------------------------
Create your vision and get connected with the feeling associated with achieving that goal, work backwards from that deadlines and be as detailed as possible with what needs to happen, which days those things need to happen and how much time those things will take on those days to happen. 
The more specific you are, the more detailed you are and the more committed you are (mark those things in your schedule and tell others your intention) . Accept and believe you WILL achieve the goal. Act as if you already have in your mind 😊

This was me a while back ...Now I realize to many of you I look just fine before (smiling!) But I want you to know that was not.

I was so sad in that picture on the left. A newly single mom, a lot heavier than today, tired all of the time, depressed, hungry, grumpy, hormone fluctuations, the whole bit. I was also working full time, newly divorced , struggling financially big time and didn't have any extra time in my schedule. Feeling so down.

I had/have an autoimmune disease (celiac) and could have accepted a lot of excuses which was very tempting but I didn't. Wallowed for a while and then one day I had had enough. I DECIDED to fix things. Did not starve myself, didn't do dangerous pills, and didn't do unhealthy calorie restrictions. Instead, figured out the formula. The same formula that now is outlined in my programs that years later has now helped tens of thousands like you.

WHERE WERE YOU ON 9-11-2001?
My now 10 year old daughter was not born yet. To her, it is just another day that something bad happened long before she was born. I explain the significance and answer the hard questions the best that I can. To those of us who experienced that day -we will never forget it.

I was 30, living in Washington, DC at the time and I was in Orlando FL for work. I remember seeing the twin towers come crashing down on TV live. We watched in horror as tragedy struck and so many lost their friends, parents, children, their co-workers, their loved ones and even their own lives. All for reasons that we will never fully comprehend.

Airports were closed everywhere so I remember renting a car and driving North. I just wanted to get home. I drove 14 hours straight and remember driving passed the smoldering Pentagon almost in slow motion. Time froze. I had some friends that worked in there. That image is embedded in my mind forever.

Over the following weeks I watched how tragedy and terror brought people together, not further apart. I witnessed compassion surround us and I watched heroes emerge. I witnessed people care about others and let go of insignificant daily complaints.

I watched , even if for a temporary time, many people APPRECIATE what it is that we have. I watched "entitlement" disappear for a while.
I appreciate America even more now. I realize this country is not perfect but not a day goes by that I do not feel fortunate to live here.

We take so much for granted daily. I feel sometimes that Americans are hated due to so many of us being entitled and not appreciating the opportunities that we have. Embrace and love what we are so fortunate to have. And NEVER forget....

You see, those are "limiting beliefs" that you formed about yourself because of an experience you once had. That belief is not a fact. It IS getting in your way though. It's stopping you from your best self, your health, your new job, your financial freedom and that amazing relationship. --------------------------
Limiting beliefs provide protection, keep us comfortable and even give us excuses but they will not ever help you accomplish your goals. 
They hold you back. --------------------------
Tell those limiting beliefs to shove it- they are in your way.

Grab some sliders (not the 🍔kind those won't work haha) OR Paper plates on carpet or even dish towels on a hard floor and work your whole body with some combo moves like these. Are you in?
